I'm not really sure how they managed that. They tied Italy (1 win, 2 losses) in group play, and in goal differential (-2), but lost head-to-head. I guess that doesn't matter and the fact they scored one more goal breaks the tie? Either way, it's kind of silly (they again, they beat Egypt, who beat Italy to also tie with 1 win, 2 losses). Rough group, but Brazil runs away with it.
Anyway, up against Spain in the Confederations Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
