Japanese Composition
So, we're up to three composition assignments in class now. I suppose since I've turned in one today, I can post them here, too, mistakes and all; I suppose there's a temptation to clean them up when posting them for all to see, but it will also give me something to look at when I want to see my progress, or just how bad I was back when, once I'm (hopefully) a little better at this whole Japanese thing.

Looking back, they seem a bit sloppy and idiotic already, but I guess that's what happens when you do them at the last possible moment, I guess. :|

Here's the most recent one I turned in today (slightly fictionalized to fit the theme):

Here's the previous one (this one was a mess, though, all sorts of stupid mistakes, just ugly. Probably the worst? -- although I haven't had the above one graded yet):

Okay, that was just terrible. I may have introduced additional errors transcribing it, but I tried to include all the errors I did make (I even misspelled the Fighters' name. Twice). Incidentally, the only kanji I messed up (on the first two, anyway), was 火... I wrote it with the, er, side strokes down instead of up.

Let us not speak of this assignment further.

So, anyway, the first one, from way back when (what an exciting topic):

[Okay, I can start leaving out my name here.]

Um, yeah. For some reason they liked this one, though. :|

And that's it so far.

I suspect the "I don't like my apartment" bit made it funny. ^_^ It's awesome when it's funny.

I don't think they thought it was funny, I think they were just wowed by my almost competent handwriting and use of actual words or something.

Although occasionally I apparently do write something amusing. On purpose, even.
