Help Me Decide
World Series tickets go on sale (online only) on Monday, at 10AM.

Should I try to buy tickets, or not?

When you're posting things with that arrowhead-thingie logo, is that baseball?

If so, you seem to like baseball, so, yeah, go for it.

Yeah, that's the thing. It will be a lot of money -- of course, I could sell the tickets online if I got a block of four...

Which is the other reason why it's going to be so hard to get them.

If you can afford it, I say go for it!

I just bought a house, so I already know I can't afford it. :(

I kinda sorta almost can, but not really, you know?

Good luck!
They canceled ticket sales at Coors Field so online is the only way to get them. I've heard that their system can only handle 10 users at a time. Even if they can make it 10x that, it's still going to be a royal pain.

only if you take me with. I'll get there on my own.

We can sing "Inna Gadda Da Vida" to "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the 7th inning stretch.

Well, you can come... But you'd have to pay for your ticket. :-P

There are things in your life you'll say, "I should have done that" even if it would make your short term money tight.

This is one of those things that "ten years from now, will it matter that I did this?" Chances are it's a memory you'll always cherish and well worth the time and money for it.

Never live with "should haves..."

Well, the game that was like that was the tie-breaker for the wildcard spot. That was a game for the ages. I wish I'd seen that one in person.

Of course, I've already been to one of the more famous games of the last thirty years (the "pine tar" game), just from the dumb luck of being in New York at the right time and us deciding to go see a game.

I say yes... it's a once in a lifetime experience.

I have a friend who might be interested in buying a ticket from you if you buy any, by the way^-^.

Would that be the same person that went to another playoff game recently and also got a job in Alabama?
Jelliskyjellisky on October 19th, 2007 04:00 pm (UTC)
Only if our large group ordering tickets doesn't get any. ;) Including myself, of course.

I think you will be sorry if you don't.

I made it to one of the games the year the Royal's beat the Cards for the State Championship...err World Series.
