Oh, yeah...
...Chiefs won, too. 27-20 over Cincy.

Pretty good defense against the Bungles... If only they had an offensive line, they'd actually be a pretty good team. And there's the rub -- they're every bit a .500 team, if that. Of course, it's possible they'll make the playoffs anyway, but darned unlikely they'll get anywhere if they get there -- I'd almost rather they just lost and got themselves some better draft picks, because they are pretty close to being a really good team if they could just plug a few personnel holes.

I would like to thank TG for getting me 17pts in fantasy football this week. Bowe didn't do much did he? I also had Adrian Peterson. I think I might win this week...

Oh, the Chefs could still totally putz out (as long as we sweep the Raiders and the Broncos, it will be an ok season), given Huard's iffy skills and Herm's general distaste for offensive scoring. If it gets Carl Peterson out of there, I'll live with a sucky season.

What I don't get is all this vitriol towards King Carl... Nobody's perfect, but doesn't anybody remember how utterly awful the Chiefs were before he showed up? The worst they'd been under him is mediocre, and often, well, disappointingly almost-great.

Of course, if the Chiefs had had real balls, they would have traded away LJ this season instead of limping along like this, and gotten themselves an offensive line for next year (because if you've got one of those, it really doesn't matter who you plug in behind it).
