Having just finished watching the season 3 DVDs, I can see why, a decade ago, I was so obsessed with this show. It was a high-water mark for television SF. At its height, it was epic, profound -- apocalyptic -- and really, really cool.

It was just... Neat.

Too bad, like all things, it eventually unravelled. And, with JMS' lousy structure for a "Television Novel," much more quickly than it should have. Just goes to show that everybody needs an editor, I suppose.
