Delicious Potatoes
Got (what is apparently) spam in Russian today, which is the first time I've ever gotten email in Russian. Given that I only know a few letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, it's, er, Greek to me (well, okay, not the funniest joke ever), but the email address is something about fertilizer. Maybe it's potato spam!

(I once heard that any words in Russian for anything more complex than potato farming were borrowed from somewhere else. But isn't that true of pretty much any language? We use Greek and Latin roots for such things, after all. And I can think of one technical term -- tokamak -- that we actually borrowed from Russian.)

Oh, words were not only borrowed. They were borrowed, renamed and encrypted, so there is only one way to recover original word - using appropriate dictionary ;)
