So, now that I've turned my PowerMac and iTunes (along with some old PC speakers) into a home stereo of sorts, I was listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack again (or, rather, my two-hour "highlights" version) while I was working on other things.

Damned if that that blasted thing doesn't still make me cry during the sad bits.

Those movies really didn't suck. They really didn't suck a lot.
In the mood: sadsad
Now playing: Lord of the Rings - Return of the King - Twilight and Shadow

Have you seen the Narnia movie yet? It's another one that didn't suck a lot.

It's very different, and I personally wouldn't assign it the same visceral impact as LotR, but man, when you think about how easy it would have been to get C.S. Lewis wrong, it's a really impressive thing to see how much they got right.

Well, having read the (ahem) transcript already, I was thinking that maybe I should. Kyaa and I haven't seen a movie in a while, I'll have to see if he's maybe up to seeing it sometime.

And remind Scott (again) that I'm waiting on his go ahead for images and such for CafePress. And, you know, if you need readers. Get me while EP is making me feel warm and fuzzy.
